course with the positive sign has characterized the synthesis of the meeting recently held for the scheduling of next exhibitions that will be organized in Emilia Romagna, dedicated to the Italian and international manufacturing system and focused on the new technologies for the manufacturing industry, the smart factory and subcontracting.

Starting from 2021 MECSPE, the reference exhibition for the manufacturing industry and the smart factory, will continue its international development in the fairgrounds of BolognaFiere, to enlarge exhibition spaces and to benefit from the connections and infrastructures that make the capital of Emilia more accessible to national and international visitors and exhibitors that attend the trade fair. Mecspe will go on representing all the sectors that characterize it (Machine Tools, Digital Factory, Automation and Robotics, Measuring and Control, Mechanical and Electronic Subcontracting, Treatments and Finishes, Additive Manufacturing, Eurostampi, Machines and Plastic Subcontracting, Power Transmission and Logistics), continuing the enlargement process of the new productive and innovation areas.

Still starting from 2021, Fiere di Parma will give new boost to Subfornitura, its historical exhibition product dedicated to industrial subcontracting machining, whose target is tracing, in this segment of SME and micro-enterprises, one of the main added-value production chains of the made in Italy.

“MECSPE will be 21 years old in 2021 – comments Ivo Nardella, Managing Director of Senafalong these years we have already programmed a course of internationalization and expansion of the exhibition, therefore the choice of Bologna fairgrounds is a natural consequence of this strategy. Emilia Romagna region and its districts remain central for the trade fair, we leave Parma with the awareness and the pride of the excellent work done until now together with the management of Fiere di Parma and national associations that have supported the development of our exhibition. Today MECSPE is the reference trade fair for the manufacturing industry and the smart factory and also in 2020, for the last time in Parma, is likely to be the umpteenth sold-out edition”.

“We are proud – comments Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma – of having contributed along these years in the birth and the development of a highly successful exhibition like Mecspe, thanks also to its simultaneity with our historical SubFornitura. Senaf has communicated us the need for growing exhibition spaces and we are pleased they have found them in our region. On the other hand, our industrial plan provides for the development of Proprietary Exhibitions such as precisely SubFornitura, which will be fully renovated in 2021 due to the new digital competences acquired and to the success of our new light formats like “Connect”.
