Materialise signs a partnership with Lincsolution

LincsolutionMaterialise has signed a partnership with Lincsolution, a South Korean manufacturer of desktop 3D printers, to equip the Link Pro printer with the Materialise Builder software. The Link Builder will streamline the 3D printing process.

Materialise partners with manufacturers of 3D printers all over the world to improve the communication between 3D software and a wide range of 3D printers. The partnership between Materialise and Lincsolution aims to customize the Materialise Builder software for the Link Pro printer, a desktop FDM printer. “It is a great opportunity for us to collaborate with Materialise,”  said Mr. Keunsik Choi, CEO of Lincsolution. “As a machine manufacturer, we find it important to stay competitive by adding a software solution to complete our desktop 3D printer offer.”

The new software will make it easy for users of the Link Pro printer, mainly situated in the education and research fields, to prepare their files for 3D Printing. The software is based on Materialise’s state-of-the-art data preparation software Magics, combined with a Build Processor framework. This framework will ensure that users can slice and hatch files in a fast and reliable way. The user-friendly settings will allow a wide range of users to print high-quality models. Through the connection with 3DPrintCloud, a file riddled with errors will be automatically transformed into a watertight design.

Materialise and Lincsolution look forward to the development of the Link Builder.

This is not the only partnership of Materialise in Asia. Materialise has inked a partnership also Gooo3D, the first Korean machine manufacturer of desktop UV-DLP printers to customized machine software, and with Former’s Farm, an Asian manufacturer of desktop 3D printers, to together work on custom-made software for Former’s Farm printers.
