HASCO Sauerland Run 2015 is the special event for customers and friends of HASCO and Harley. For three exciting days, participants swapped their work clothes for motorbike leathers.
On Friday, 3 July, everyone first met up at the HASCO headquarters in Lüdenscheid for a guided tour of the company. Participants were particularly impressed by the innovative, fully automatic, high-rack storage system which makes stress-relief annealed material available for production on a continuous basis. Following this, participants took charge of their Harleys and, after receiving professional instruction, set off on their attractive tour.
The first stage took them to Burg Schnellenberg in Attendorn from where, the next morning, they departed for a two-lakes tour after a copious biker’s breakfast. On the route northwards through the Sauerland to Möhnesee lake, participants were able to experience that true Harley feeling. Sweeping curves in a fascinating natural landscape provided a backdrop that all the riders marvelled at.
The destination on the second day was Edersee lake. The highlight of the evening – a visit to the Edersee Festival – gave customers and HASCO employees the opportunity to discuss bikes and business at length. After a joint brunch on Sunday, the group was once again able to experience large areas of the Sauerland right up close on the return journey to Lüdenscheid. By the end, 400 kilometres had been clocked up, which, in this hilly region, stands for plenty of fun tackling curves and a performance to be proud of. All the participants were delighted by the route, the landscape, the programme and the Harleys and are looking forward to taking part again in 2016 if possible.
