From 10th to 12th June Mecspe 2021 lands in Bologna

The twentieth edition of MECSPE exhibition moves to the new Bolognese exhibition pole, enhancing the offer for Italian manufacturing SME and international connections:
375,000 sq. m. of exhibition surface, 18 halls and 12 shows

Digitalization, training and sustainability are the key words of MECSPE 2021, the leader exhibition in Italy on innovative technologies for manufacturing enterprises staged at BolognaFiere, from 10th to 12th June. An edition, the twentieth, promoted by Senaf in the name of expansion and internationalization, relevant aspect especially for the subcontracting ambit, increasingly involved in the supply chain of tier 1 suppliers of leader manufacturing brands. Subcontracting will be among trade fair protagonists with a large area, which will host the primary suppliers of subcontracting services specialized in mechanical and electronic machining and in the plastic material processing.

The choice of Bologna fairgrounds was a natural consequence of the exhibition’ s internationalization and expansion course.

The move, in fact, will allow us to further improve the foreign and the domestic development, permitting to benefit from connections and infrastructures that make the Emilia capital city more accessible to visitors attending the exhibition”.

The challenge for the Italian recovery starts then in the name of modernity, driven by SMEs’ propensity for innovation, witnessed also by last ISTAT data (+10.8% in the 2016-2018 triennium) and by a new larger exhibition pole: 375,000 sq. m. of exhibition surface and 18 suitable halls for hosting a complete survey of the industrial production and supply chain, with a reconfirmation of product sectors already feather in the cap of MECSPE, to offer visitors new exhibition experiences, satisfying their constantly rising expectations. As many as 12 shows, subdivided into 4 thematic areas, which will display from Machine tools and Treatment and Finishes in the Mechanical Area to Electronic and Mechanical Subcontracting, Non Ferrous Materials and alloys in the Subcontracting Area; with a jump into the future also in the Industry 4.0 Area, with Control Italy, Motek Italy, Power Drive, Logistics, Digital factory and Additive Manufacturing shows; finally, Eurostampi, Machines for Plastics, Rubber and Composite Subcontracting in the specific Plastics, Rubber and Composite Area.

Moreover, leitmotif of the 2021-edition will be the physical concretization of the Factory without limits, an exhibition core that has been a trend anticipator for a long time now.
