The leading global provider of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions Stratasys Ltd. promoted Andy Middleton to President of Stratasys EMEA following his previous role as Senior VP and General Manager, Stratasys EMEA.
Effective immediately, Middleton will assume responsibility for Stratasys’ EMEA team along with overall responsibility for driving the expansion and development of the Stratasys brand and proposition in EMEA. Following his success in leading the business to exceptional growth, Middleton will also oversee the company’s integration of MakerBot within the region, which is expected to be completed within the next few months.
“As Senior VP and General Manager EMEA, Andy was pivotal in leading and expanding our sales operations and in doing so, played a key role in firmly establishing Stratasys as one of the foremost global 3D printing manufacturers,” says Stratasys Chief Business Officer, Josh Claman. “With his many years’ experience in 3D printing and terrific market knowledge, we believe that Andy is perfectly equipped to drive our integration of MakerBot in EMEA and continue to generate new opportunities for our business growth.”
In parallel to Middleton’s appointment, and following the continued trust of senior management in his leadership and promotion of Stratasys as a market leader, Andreas Langfeld was appointed to General Manager of MakerBot Europe.
“As a former vice-president of finance and operations, Andreas will be the focal point in driving MakerBot Europe and will continue support us and our business growth moving forward,” says Middleton. “These are exciting times and I believe that the upcoming integration of our MakerBot business will lead to further market growth.”
