TW500HV sets a new trend

The new machine centre TW500HV sets a new trend in our sector by combining a horizontal machining center with a vertical machine center to create a machine that allows configurations and times of loading / unloading faster, better precision in machining on five faces with a single setup, maximization of the space occupied on the ground, and the reduction in financial investment. The combination in a single machining center with spindle vertical and horizontal and exchange of working table automatically allows you to increase productivity and decrease the use of different machines. The base and the column, made in cast iron Meehanite, are able to have important accelerations and decelerations. The spindle head and the saddle, in cast iron Meehanite, too, are widely sized. In vertical spindle the travels are X650, Y600 and Z450, in the horizontal spindle X650, Y450 and Z600 mm. The rotary table, with measures of 500x500mm, allows working in continuous and is equipped with a rotary and absolute HEIDENHAIN encoder and hydraulic clamping system. The guide ways are high precision linear guide with double nut ball screws and they are of 35mm section. Also, the Z axis has six support blocks. All axes motors have absolute encoders which guarantee maximum precision in working. The rapid feeds are of 48/36 m / min. The spindles are at 12000 rpm, 11Kw, direct drive spindle with spindle nose ISO / BT40 and both are equipped with system for the coolant at high pressure through the tool. A special coolant unit stabilizes the temperature of the spindles and ensures high precision in working preventing thermal variations in the spindle lines. The machine center is equipped with two magazines tool at 24 seats, in random management, arm type with dual gripper and the tool magazine of the horizontal spindle can be expanded to a capacity of 40 tools.
